Barbara Lynn (Jacquot) Jackson, 73 of Arkadelphia passed away peacefully at her home June 15, 2019 with her husband by her side. Barbara was born December 19, 1945 in San Diego, California to the late Robert and Alice (Haworth) Jacquot. Barbara and her husband Robert both graduated in 1963 from Heidelberg High School in Heidelberg Germany. Barbara received her bachelor’s degree from Fairmont State College in West Virginia and her master’s degree from Waynesburg College in Pennsylvania after which she worked as a policy coordinator for MetLife. Barbara was skilled at arts and crafts with a special knack for embroidery and handmade holiday cards for her grandchildren.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers (Kenneth and Steve). She is survived by the love of her life, her husband of 22 years Robert Jackson. She leaves behind three children, Patrick Loria his wife Paula of Connecticut, Rhea Larry and her husband James Green of Maryland, and Franklin Loria and his wife Erika of Connecticut. She was a devoted and doting grandmother to Davie, Colin, Lyla, Cael, Sofie, and Chloe. She also leaves four step-children Joe Jackson, Carl Jackson, Rheana Jackson and Kirk Jackson his wife Kay and children Destany, Fate, and Kyra and brother and sister-in-law Riley and Kay Jackson of Arizona.
Memorial service for Barbara will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 22, 2019 at the Presbyterian Church in Arkadelphia with the Rev.Howard Gordon officiating.
