Barbara Lehmann McKinney

Barbara Lehmann McKinney, age 78, of Sims, AR, passed away on April 24, 2025. She was born on August 17, 1946, to Tobe and Helen Lehmann in Mena, Arkansas.

Barbara graduated from Mena High School in the class of 1964. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mount Ida. She worked as a compliance officer at Union Bank of Mena before retirement. Barbara loved knitting toboggan hats for kids, reading, hunting, and fishing with her beloved husband, Marion, and she enjoyed her two dogs, Rosie and Midnight.

She is preceded in death by her spouse, Marion McKinney, her sister, Betty Roth, her parents, Tobe and Helen Lehmann, and daughter, Tammy McKinney Fryar.

Barbara is survived by her son Eddie "Buddy" Terrell Davis of Oklahoma, daughters Edana "Dana" Duff of Mount Ida, and Jenny McKinney of Mansfield, TX. Also, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, prior to services from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Mount Ida First Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Mount Ida First Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Ashburn officiating.

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Smith Family Funeral Home in Glenwood.
