Barbara Kuhn

Barbara O'Brien Rector Kuhn, of Maumelle, left us to be with the Lord on August 10, 2014. She was born March 2, 1925 in Warwick, RI.
Barbara is survived by her husband Clarence J. Kuhn of forty two years; her daughter, Barbara Rector Willier (Rev. Don Willier) of Centre, Alabama; sons, James Rector (Frieda) of Houston, Texas, John Rector (Diana) of Vilonia; Michael Rector (Roz) of Little Rock; eighteen grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Shirley Forte of Cranston, Rhode Island.
She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen C. Rector; her husband of thirty years, W.L. Rector; mother and father, James and Susan O'Brien; her twin brother, Robert O'Brien, brothers, Elmer O'Brien, James O'Brien and Burnside Mitchell and her sisters, Honora Neary, Ida Heroux and Virginia Melk, all resided in Rhode Island.
Barbara was a member at the Maumelle First United Methodist Church where she taught bible study for over twenty years. She touched many people lives and helped bring them closer to Jesus.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by services at 10:30 a.m., Thursday at First United Methodist Church of Maumelle. Burial will be at Riverwood Memorial Gardens with Rev.
