Barbara Ivy ?Aunt Barbara?, 94, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, June 5, 2008. For many years of her life she assisted her husband, Joe Ivy in operating their Esso Service Station in Little Rock. She was a member of Argenta Neighborhood Association and North Little Rock Presbyterian Church where she was active in the Women?s Auxiliary.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Barbara Jo and Sid Bray of Little Rock, Minnie Rae and Wayne Bennett, Joe C. and Kaye Ivy, Bruce and Susan Ivy, Vicky and Malcolm Johnson, all of Quitman, Wilfred Ivy and Tommy of Conway and Becky and Stanley Burroughs, of Damascus; seven great nephews and three great nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Ivy.
The family wishes to express thanks to all her many friends, especially, Carolyn, Connie, Dorothy, Jerry and Mary Elizabeth, the staff of Pleasant Hills Retirement Center, caregivers from Baptist Hospital 7th Floor and Dr. Ira Gershner.
