Barbara Kay Goddard, 72, of Velvet Ridge, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2014. She was born December 7, 1942 in Greenwood, Arkansas. She was a member of Velvet Ridge Church of God.
Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa (Lisa) Ann Eads; sister Esther Hughart; and her parents, Andy and Maudie Hughart.
She leaves behind one son, Bobby Wayne Brooks; three sisters, Lorene Moran, Frances Nick and Nancy Parsley; one brother, William (Bill) and Patty Hughart;
four granddaughters, Brittainy (Erik) Walser, Bobbie Jean (Terry) White, Courtney Yingling and Brianna Willis; three grandsons, Nathaniel (Nicole) Yingling, Jeremy Brooks and Hunter Eads. She also leaves behind seven great-grandkids who were the light of her life: Chad, Gavin, Ian, Trip, Axis, Kallie and Owen; and also a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held Thursday, December 11, 2014, at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
