Barbara Gill

Barbara Jean Gill, 83 of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away at her home in Jacksonville on June 17, 2021. She was born in Steele, Missouri to the late Robert H. Locke and Daisy (Cooper) Locke. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Jackie Teimer and her former husband, Fonnie C. Gill. She is survived by daughters, Debbie Rice her husband Robert, Sandra Grantham her husband Keith, grandchildren, Tiffany Leffers her husband Eric, Kristina Bockhold and Alyssa Bockhold, great-granddaughter, Dakota Cordoba.

Barbara was deeply loved by her family and friends. She had a heart of gold, was thinking of others and always praying for whomever she knew needed support. She just loved and cared about everyone, and everyone she met loved and cared for her. She was a very beautiful lady inside and out. Her joyful presence will be terribly missed.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday June 21, 2021 at Romance Cemetery in Romance, Arkansas. Services are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Sherwood, Arkansas.
