Barbara Ann Gentry, 73, of Bauxite, Arkansas passed away February 12, 2018. She was born July 10, 1944 in Walls, Mississippi.
Barbara was a loving and generous person who always helped others. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors-but most of all, loved her family. Animals were special to her and she raised anything from pet pigs, squirrels, birds lizards, chickens, fish, deer, turkey, cats, dogs, racoons, and rabbits. She was a member of the B and H Hunting Club.
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Hurst; brother, Roy Hurst; and sister, Betty Bratcher.
She will forever be remembered by her loving husband of twenty-one years, Don Gentry; her sons: Danny Jumper, Tommy Jumper and wife Susan, Blake Jumper and wife Kristy; daughters: Lisa Cheek and husband Scotty and Kristy Byrd and husband Chuck; grandchildren: Danielle Henry and husband Tyler, Jack Jumper, Lindsey Jumper, Lacy Jumper, Bo Sigman, Blakely Jumper, Brittany Johnson and husband Jody, Colby Hogue, Tiffany Hogue, and Paige Byrd; great-grandchildren: Anistyn Henry, Camden Johnson, and Cooper Johnson; brother, Franklin Hurst and wife Bubba; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends who love Barbara and will miss her always.
Reception visitation will be held from 4:00-5:00 PM, Thursday, February 15, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton. Funeral service, officiated by Dr. Rick Grant, will follow at 5:00 P.M.
