Barbara Burch

After a courageous battle with cancer, Barbara Sue Smith Burch of Woodson entered Heaven on June 16, 2010. She was a member of Woodson Baptist Church and her faith was her strength.

She was born March 10, 1934 in Little Rock, to the late Monroe and Gladys Whitfield Smith. They, along with brother, Kenneth; sister Evelyn, and granddaughter, Tiffany were at the Gates of Heaven to welcome her.

Survivors are her husband of 60 years, Robert; daughters, Sheila Allison (Granger) of Woodson, Karen Gentry (Steve) of Lonoke, and Susan Cross (Donald) of Colorado. Her eight precious grandchildren, Shane, Jeff, April, Cathie, Ashley, Christopher, Justin, and SarahBeth. Great-grandchildren, Jeffery, Micah, Hunter, Breanna, Bailey, Ryan, Landon, Conner, Hallie, Owen, Blake, Andrew, Sydney, and Isaac. Siblings, Bettye, Gaye, Martha, Monroe Jr., and Buddy.

Barbara was a loving wife, mother and "Gigi", who touched the lives of all that knew her. She will be forever in our hearts.

Visitation from 6-8 pm, Saturday, June 19th at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 21st at Woodson Baptist Church, burial at Woodson Cemetery. Online guest book and registry at www.nlrfh.com.
