Barbara Bradford

Barbara L. (Cossey) Bradford, 75, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born February 19, 1941 at Cabot, Arkansas to John Paul and Ruby (Cole) Cossey, and she passed on to see her savior, Jesus Christ Friday, March 25, 2016. She was a 1959 graduate of Beebe High School and worked at Burrows Drug Store in Beebe for thirty-plus years. Barbara was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in McRae. She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and a special friend to many.

Barbara is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Finis (Smiley) Bradford; son Rick (Connie) Bradford of St. Louis, Missouri; daughter Debra (West) Doss of Fayetteville; son Steve (Tina) Bradford of Bartlett, Tennessee; daughter Nita (Rob) Hawkins of Rose Bud; brothers Clinton "Red" Cossey of Cabot and Leslie (Paulette) Cossey of Beebe; sister-in-laws Dorothy Cossey of Cabot and Viola Cossey Martin of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren plus one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers Thurman Cossey of Jonesboro and Sam Cossey of Cabot.

Memorials may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church, 460 Shiloh Rd., McRae, AR 72102.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Antioch Cemetery.
