Our family lost our loving sister, Barbara Jean Barnard on May 16, 2023. Barbie was born October 21, 1947 in Vallejo, California.

Barbie worked for the Arkansas State Medical Board. She retired in 2012. Her fellow workers pronounced her an ideal workmate due to her ready smile and warmth.

Barbie is preceded in death by her mother, Jean Perry Langley and long-time companion, Jearol Toland.

She is survived by her cherished grandson, Brody Barnard; brother, Mike Perry (Carol); sisters: Debbie Owens (James), Jackie Roberson (Eddie), and Cindy Kisor (Jim); and foster son, John Todd. Barbie was a favorite aunt to her nephews and their children.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 24, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
