Barbara Ann Babbitt, 45, of Benton went to be with our Lord on Thursday January 25, 2018. Barbara was born August 21, 1972 to the late Milton Ray and Dianne (Morrow) Ray in Portland, Indiana.
Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved to spend time with her family. She was an awesome cook that often could be found in the kitchen and she loved doing crafts and sewing. She was a proud member of Gospel Light Baptist Church and considered them her extended family.
Barbara is preceded is death by her father: Milton Ray; one sister: Sandra Taylor; one niece: Haylee Russell and a nephew Justin Ray. She is survived by her loving husband of nineteen years Carlos Babbitt, Jr. Two daughters: Kayla Claret and husband Roger of Conway and Ashley Wilson and husband Chance of Benton and one son: Dean Babbitt of Benton; three grandchildren: Roger Claret II, Malik Claret and Natalie Claret; her Mother: Diane Ray; Brothers: Curtis Ray and wife Betty and Randy Ray and wife Cindy of Greenville, MS, sister: Sonja Little and husband Tim of Grenada, MS; Sisters: Angela Nduati of Benton and Dana Russell and husband Jason of Cleveland, TN and a host of other family members and friends she loved and adored.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00-6:00 PM at Smith-Benton Funeral Home with a celebration of life directly following at 6:00 with Bro. Eddie Kitchen officiating.
Though we will grieve greatly for such an awesome ladies departure here on earth,
Heaven gained a beautiful Angel the day she left us.
