Bailey Dawn Tauth

Bailey Dawn Tauth, age 26, of Hot Springs, left this world for heaven on Thursday, March 2, 2023.  She takes to heaven with her, Memphis Cove, her unborn son.

She was born on December 30, 1996, the daughter of Dr. Jeffrey G. Tauth and Cyndi Lacefield Tauth.  She is preceded in death by her sister, Whitley Cooper; her paternal grandmother, Gloria Tauth; and her maternal grandfather, Wayne Lacefield.

Bailey was raised in a Christian home, baptized at an early age, and had attended Lake Valley Community Church growing up and attended Grace Church as well. She stood strong in her faith and her walk with God.  She had a vibrant, playful personality which was evident by the pranks she pulled and her colorful hair.

She loved and was loved by her entire family and a host of friends, but the biggest love of her life was her precious son, Jett, whom she adored and loved with all her heart!!! And she was excited and looking forward to being a mom again to Memphis Cove.

When her family thought of memories, they shared that Bailey loved pulling pranks, especially on her brother Tyler whom she loved to scare. Bailey repetitively told the story of her sister, Whitley, and cousins, Stacy and Kristin, coaxing her to run down the hallway and they would pull the rug out from under her.   These girls loved and laughed their way through childhood, their teenage years and into adulthood together.

Bailey’s favorite thing she loved the most was spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed riding horses, playing on the lake, fishing and her favorite vacation spot was St. John Virgin Islands.

Bailey loved her parent’s home. Their pantry was her favorite grocery store and their table her favorite dining spot….  That call went something like this – “what are y’all cooking for dinner?” Her answer was usually “I’m coming” only rarely was it “I’ll pass.”

Bailey often loved to just drive in her car listening to music and decompress.… it was therapeutic for her. She loved anything by Morgan Wallen and her favorite beat was Hip Hop.  Several people said, “Bailey was the best gift giver ever”.  She started right after Christmas trying to come up with next year’s presents and she gave the most unique, thoughtful, personalized gifts …she put that big heart and soul into it in a big way!

Bailey was a graduate of Lakeside High School where she was involved in sports, dance and many other activities…she was a true Lakeside Ram. She was also a sweetheart at the Heart Ball her sophomore year and earned a special sweetheart award for raising the most money for the American Heart Association. She was currently a college student studying to be an ultrasound sonographer and worked as a medical assistant. Her father, Jeffrey, was so proud to walk his beautiful daughter across that stage in her lovely red gown and he in his tux…it will always be a favorite memory of his.

After her sister Whitley passed away, Bailey was there for her nephew Rylen who lovingly called her Aunt “B”. She loved him with all her heart!

Bailey had such a playful spirit and loved to pull pranks and was such a joy to be around. She was abundantly loved by her parents Jeffrey & Cyndi for her big smile, contagious laugh and that big caring heart. She was also loved by her many family and friends who knew her loving caring spirit! She brought so much joy to those around her, and she will be missed tremendously!

Bailey was grounded in her faith and one of Bailey’s favorite scriptures was…Be strong and of good courage, do not fear, for it is the Lord our God who goes with you Deuteronomy 31:6 - One of Bailey’s favorite sayings was - don’t cry over the past, it’s over. Don’t stress about the future, it hasn’t happened yet and live in the present, make it beautiful!

She is survived by her son, Jett Mack; her parents, Dr. Jeffrey Tauth and Cyndi Tauth; two brothers, Tyler Tauth, and Jordan Tauth of Sacramento, California; her nephew, Rylen Cooper; maternal grandparents, Brenda and Frankie Wilson; extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
