Ayline Harrison Lankford, 94, of Little Rock, Arkansas, went to live with Jesus on July 7, 2020. Ayline was born March 23, 1926, to William and Maude (Rice) Harrison in Waldron, Arkansas. She was the youngest of six siblings. While in high school she met and fell in love with Lowell Taylor Lankford. Ayline finished high school while Lowell was in the Pacific with the Army Air Corps during World War II. Following the war, they were married on Christmas Day in 1946, and eventually moved to Little Rock. She was a member of New Life Church, Conway, Arkansas.
Ayline is survived by her three children: Phyllis Railey, Lowell (Buddy), and Keith; seven grandchildren: Michael Railey, Melissa Anderson, Jason Railey, Lauren (Lankford) Scott, Tommy Lankford, Alex Lankford, and Erinn Forthman; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Ayline was preceded in death by Lowell, her husband of 54 years; parents, William and Maude; brothers Ray, Claude, Clyde, and Paul; and sister, Edna.
Graveside services will take place at Forest Hills Cemetery in Alexander at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, the 13th of July. The service will be officiated by Pastor Johnny Lewis of New Life Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA), or New Life Church in Conway.
