Austin Lee Jenkins

Austin Lee Jenkins, 93, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 with family at his side.  He was born December 14, 1926 in Halls, Tennessee to the late Albert and Ruby Lee Jenkins of North Little Rock.  He was preceded in death by his wife Delores, his son Russell Jenkins, daughter Phyllis Pizzalato, and brothers Vernon and Vernie Jenkins.

Austin is survived by his daughters, Barbara Jenkins (Ray) of Hillsboro, Texas and Sharon Henley (Steve) of North Little Rock, by seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, and his brother Lewis Jenkins of Sherwood, Arkansas.

Austin was an Army veteran having served during World War II and the Korean Conflict.  He was a lifetime member of BPOE Elks Lodge #1004, lifetime member of the VFW #11474 of North Little Rock and the American Legion of Little Rock.

Austin was an avid Baseball fan, delightful conversationalist and all-around good guy and human being.  He was fun to be around and will be missed by family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Randy Spikes, Jude Spikes, Heath Spikes, and Chad Spikes.
