Audrey Inez Smith, 78, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away May 4, 2019 at Saline Memorial Hospice. She was born June 9, 1940 in Rose Hill, Arkansas to the late George Alford McKinzie and Helen Olphia (Etheridge) Riley.
Audrey was of the Christian faith. She was a talented artist who enjoyed painting and drawing. Audrey also enjoyed playing computer games, reading, and watching her favorite television shows: Blue Bloods, NCIS, and anything on Food Network. Most importantly, Audrey loved her family and serving others. She worked for over fifty years as a certified nursing assistant.
Audrey leaves to cherish her memory: her ex-husband and best friend, Everet Smith of Alexander, Arkansas; three daughters: Shelia Durham of Alexander, Arkansas, Alicia Jackson of Alexander, Arkansas, and Melissa Dickson and her husband Robert of Little Rock, Arkansas; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters; one brother; and many more family members and friends who love Audrey and will miss her always.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 8, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Burial following at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.
