Audrey Holloway Ray, 82, of Sparkman died Saturday, April 15 in Arkadelphia.  She was born January 2, 1924 in Manning, Arkansas, the daughter of John Patrick and Rosa Brown Holloway. Her father preached the first sermon ever preached at the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Sparkman.  She was the last survivor of Rosa and John's 13 children.
 
She was a homemaker who loved working among her flowers, gardening, cooking, tending to her home, and listening to music.  She was a very faithful member of West Main Missionary Baptist Church in Sparkman.
 
She is survived by her three beloved children, Tony Edward Ray, and Louis Lane Ray of Sparkman, and Phyllis Ray Ruocco of Little Rock; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
 
A service of loving remembrance will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2:00 P.M. at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Arkadelphia, with burial in the Rock Springs Cemetery, Sparkman.   Visitation Monday, April 17, 6-8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
