Audrey Catherine Medlock

Audrey Catherine Medlock, age 87, entered Heaven's Gates on July 17, 2024, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas at Baptist Medical Center.
She was born to Fredrick Hopper and Clida Lake Duke Hopper on March 2, 1937 in Hopper, Arkansas. She was the last member of her large Hopper family. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings; her husband, Erman Ray Medlock, and her one and only favorite son, Jim Bob Medlock.

Audrey was such a caring and happy lady. It was rare that her smile and giggle were not present, even in hard times. She leaves a very impressive legacy. Her survivors are her daughter, Dawn (Ken) Clark, her bonus kids, Joy and Mack McCarty, Debbie Johnson, Kenny and Lorrie Medlock, Denise, and Cecil Chamberlin, and daughter-in-law, Lisa Medlock, several nieces and nephews, 18 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren. 

The past several years have been difficult for Audrey. Alzheimer's stole so much from her, and all of us who knew and loved her. But even with the adversity of that awful disease, she remained very happy and always smiling. So as we are sad for her Earthly passing, let us be very thankful that she has been restored to perfect health, and is keeping watch over all of us here.

A visitation will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Hopper Church of Christ.
The funeral service will occur Monday, July 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Hopper Church of Christ with Bro. Harold Vaughn and Tony Hill officiating.
The burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Caddo Gap.

Pallbearers are Chris Hopper, Rustin McCarty, Sam Sather, Jamie Jones, Zane Duggan, and Phillip Hopper.
Honorary Pallbearers are the staff of Duggan's Oak Park in Glenwood and Twin Rivers Rehabilitation in Arkadelphia.
