Mrs. Audie Brannon Smith, 97 of North Little Rock passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011. She was born November 23, 1914 in Jacksonville, Arkansas. She was a member of Bethel Methodist Church and a devoted Christian and loving mother and friend.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Kelley, of North Little Rock; son, Donald (Barbara) Smith, of Sherwood; four grandchildren, Lynn Kelley, Mike Kelley, Shonda McCauley and Gayla Calhoun; eight great-grandchildren, Randy Kelley, Katelyn Kelley, Jessie Battles, Megan Battles, Austin Calhoun, Dustin Calhoun, Ian McCauley and Collin McCauley. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Charley Smith; grandson, R.K. Kelley; parents, Dolph and Maggie Adkins Brannon; five brothers and sisters.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Sherwood Nursing and Rehabilitation and especially to Nurse Dianna Harris.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday at Bethel United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
