Aubrey Knight

Aubrey Allen Knight, 78, of Redfield, passed away August 28, 2018. He was born in Bona, Arkansas on November 14, 1939 to Mildred and Virgil Knight. He graduated from Little Rock Central High School in Little Rock and attended UALR. He married Mary Morris in 1963.
He worked for the IGA Company and then Baptist Hospital where he trained to become a registered Medical Technologist. He then worked for Newport Hospital, England Hospital, Stuttgart Hospital, and Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital in Malvern and retired in 2003.
During this time, he was Choir Director at Bryant Methodist Church, England Methodist Church, Geyer Springs Methodist Church, and River Road Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing the piano and organ, singing in church and participating in community plays, riding roller coasters and traveling.
He is preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Herman Fabian; brother, Wayne; sister, Loeta; and child, Christopher Knight. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Morris Knight; son, Allen Knight; daughter, Andi Knight; 3 grandchildren, Meagan (Bubba) Tuggle, Maleah (Ricky) Haralson, Caitlin (Rodney) Wallace; 6 great-grandchildren, Avery, Ally, and Layne Haralson, Ainsley and Bradyn Wallace, and Easton Tuggle; sister, Euritha Brazil; aunt, Wilma Tennison; sister-in-law, Virginia (Emmit) Powers; and brother-in-law, Willis Huffman.
