Aubrey E. Boydston, 89, of North Little Rock, passed away June 18, 2008. Aubrey was born in Tyronza, Arkansas to William H. and Myrtle Thomas Boydston on November 9, 1918. He served in the United States Army during World War II, from 1941-1945. His unit was stationed in the Pacific and participated in the invasions of Makin, Saipan, and Okinawa. After the war he completed his education at the Industrial Training Institute in Chicago, Illinois. He was retired from the Little Rock Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nell Sue Boydston; daughter, Marsha Joyce Grisham; brothers, Wayne H. and John B. Boydston; and sister, Elsie Mae Treadway.
He is survived by his son, Gene Boydston; and grandchildren, Sarah, Rebeckah, and Lyle Grisham.
Memorials may be made to Baring Cross Baptist Church, 7541 Warden Road, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park.
