Aubira Jackson "Jack" Lay

Aubira Jackson “Jack” Lay, 85, of Searcy, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022.  He was born April 24, 1936 at Mt. Vernon, Arkansas to Walter and Bertha (Permenter) Lay.  He was a member of New Life Church.

Jack is survived by his wife of 19 years, Melinda (Willis) Lay; sons Tim Lay (Denise) of Eugene, Oregon and Trevor Lay (Tonya) of Sherwood; daughter Stephanie Lisenby (Marie) of Searcy; grandchildren, Joseph Ramsey, Jacob Ramsey, Hannah Ramsey, all of Searcy, Taven Lay, Tempy Lay, both of Sherwood; his sister Geralda Rackley of Beebe; his loving dog Henry; and many other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

Visitation will be 5:24-7:24 p.m. Tuesday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.  Funeral will be 2:24 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Rose Bud.  Arrangements by Smith Westbrook Funeral Home.
