Artis McDonald
Artis McDonald, 75, died August 23, 2009. He was born in Bismark, Arkansas on June 24, 1934. He retired from Safeway after 40 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his wives Florene Fulton and Edith Howard; parents James Carson and Kester R. Green McDonald; three brothers and 2 sisters.
Survivors include his children, Phillip McDonald and his wife Teresa of North Little Rock; Valerie McDonald of Bismark; Debra Pickens of Baton Rouge, LA; and Leland and wife Nita McDonald of Greenwell Springs, LA; one brother, Floyd McDonald and his wife Sue of North Little Rock; one sister, Patricia Draper of Malvern; eight Grandchildren; five Great-Grandchildren; his special friend John Gathwright; and his two dogs, Link and Lucky.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 26 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel at 7700 Highway 107 Sherwood, Arkansas 72120 with Reverend Bobby Minick officiating. Burial will be at Harmony Cemetery near Perryville, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 25 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel.
