Arthur Patterson Jr

Arthur Lee "Dick" Patterson Jr. age 94 of Friendship, AR went to be with the Lord Our Savior Thursday, October 9, 2014. He was a very active member of the Caddo Valley Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Dick enjoyed a long, full, active life, serving in the United States Air Force for over 20 years and retiring at the highest enlisted rank in 1962 of Senior Master Sergeant. After that career, he and his wife were led by the Lord to Henderson, NV. There he and his wife worked in mission work in Henderson and Las Vegas. He also retired from a second career at Titanium Metals Corporation, after which he and his wife moved to Friendship, AR where they have been for 34 years. Mildred "Blanche" Patterson, his wife of 74 years, preceded him in death on May 27th of this year.

He is survived by two sons, Wayne Patterson and his wife Kathy of Winnemucca, NV and Greg Patterson and wife Linda of Mountain Home, AR, one daughter, Elizabeth "Betsy" Hall of Santa Clarita, CA, six grandchildren, Daniel, Sam, and Greg Alen Patterson, Leanne Sanchez, and Greg and Chris Hall and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday, October 18th, in the Caddo Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Doug White and Rev. Milton Perades officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9 AM till service time Saturday. Burial with full Military Honors will be in Caddo Valley Cemetery.
