Arthur Louis Metcalf, Sr., born in Peach, Washington April 22, 1930 to Louis and Mary Metcalf, passed away March 23, 2015. He has been married to Maye for 64 years and to this union five children were born, Arthur, Jr. of the home, Roger and wife, Micky of Beebe, Scott and wife, Teresa of North Dakota, Kathy Jones of Mabelvale, and Judy Baker and husband, Mike of Mabelvale; sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; a special grandson we raised, Eddie and wife, Alicia of Russellville; and a host of other family and friends.

Arthur was a member of Oak Park Baptist Church which he loved very much. He also loved camping and fishing with his children and grandchildren. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather.

Our family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. James Kane for his loving care.

Services will be Thursday, March 26 at 11:30 a.m. at Oak Park Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Gary O'Neal, followed by interment with Military Honors at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
