Arrita Ray

Arrita Jean Ray, 64, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 19,2020. She was born on November 18, 1955 to Milford and Charlene (Noles) Scott.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 42 years, Johnny Ray.  Arrita was the rock of the family.  She loved everyone unconditionally.  Arrita enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and planting flowers.  She loved eating veggies of all kinds and working in puzzle books.

Arrita was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters: Shelly Swaim, and Callie Scott; and brother-in-laws: Jerry Bean and Gary Graves.

Survivors include: husband, Johnny Ray; sisters: Donna Bean and Freda Graves; brothers-in-law: Teddy Swaim and Rudy Graves; nieces and nephews: Marcus (Sara) Graves, Amber (Dustin) Blake, Shea (Angela) Graves, Blake Swaim, Brian (Amber) Lambert, and Corey (Tabby) Ray, and many great nephews that loved her with all their hearts.  Arrita was a blessing to us all and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-10:30 AM, Friday, August 28 at Avant Cemetery in Avant, Arkansas.  Graveside service, officiated by Bro. Larry McNelley, will follow at 10:30 AM at the cemetery.
