Arnold (Pete) Sowerbrower, 73, of Jacksonville, died August 2, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Delores Besancon Sowerbrower; three sons, Wes Sowerbrower (Amanda), Springdale, Arkansas; Andy Sowerbrower (Kelli), Sparksburg, Georgia; Alan (Leslie), Bedford, Texas; grandchildren, Conner and Casey, Springdale; Sidney, Andrew and Sam, Sparksburg; Samantha Sowerbrower, Bedford; siblings, four brothers and four sisters. Preceded in death by parents, Charles W. and Mildred (Leaper) Sowerbrower; three brothers; and two sisters.
He retired in 2008 from University of Arkansas Bowen School of Law and attended St. Patrick Catholic Church. He served in the USAF.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church's Building Fund or Arkansas Hospice (Cabot Office) 3022 South 2nd Street, Cabot, Arkansas 72023.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. There will be a private graveside service at Calvary Cemetery with Hospice Chaplin Gary McCormick officiating. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
