Arnold "Pop" Corn, 80, of Sherwood passed away on Friday, September 15th, 2017. He was born February 6th, 1937 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to the late Lewis "Dan" and Barbara Jones Corn. "Pop" was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Joyce, his sisters, Garlene and Iva Jo, and brothers L.D. and Harold.
He is survived by his sons, Randy (wife Susan), and Tony (wife Karen ); grandchildren, A.J. (wife Rhonda), Brent (wife Kristin), Logan, and Savanah; great-grandchildren, Peyton and Bailey, and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
"Pop" loved Cardinal baseball and old westerns; he attended the First Baptist Church of Sherwood, was an Army veteran, and had retired from Entergy after 20 plus years of employment as a Plant Operator.
Graveside Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., September 20th, at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107, Sherwood, 501-834-1191).
