Arliss Montgomery, age 91, of Hot Springs, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015 in Little Rock. He was born October 13, 1924 in Caney (Hot Spring County), Arkansas to the late Samuel H. and Linnie Smith Montgomery. Arliss was a member of Winan Missionary Baptist Church. He was retired from Rock Island Railroad and a U. S. Navy veteran of WW II.
He was preceded in death by one son, Stanley Montgomery.
Survivors are one son, Tony Montgomery and wife, Sharon of Evening Shade, Arkansas; one sister, Louise Griggs of Franklin, Tennessee; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11:30 am Tuesday, January 5th at DeRoche Missionary Baptist Church near Bismarck. Interment will follow at DeRoche Cemetery. Visitation will 11:00 am Tuesday until service time at the church.
