Arley "Jay" Stewart of Ward was born on July 14, 1932 and died June 6, 2014. Jay Graduated from Cabot High School in 1951, served 4 years in the Navy, graduated from OSU Tech, and Jay retired from ABF. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ellis and Edith Stewart of Austin Ar. 4 sisters: Clarice Smith of Searcy, Juanita Fulks and Eva Overturf of Austin, and Emogene Lambert of Cabot. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Ida (Rita) Stewart. 2 sons: James Allen (Tina) of Springdale, Bruce Lynn (Rita) of Ward. 4 granddaughters: Tara, Cortnee, Shea, and Megan. 2 grandsons: Josiah and Caleb. 1 brother: Wesley Wayne Stewart of Ward. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral service will be Tuesday, 2 p.m., June 10, 2014 at McArthur Assembly Of God in Jacksonville with burial in Sylvania Cemetery. Family will receive friends and family Monday June 9, from 6 to 8 PM at Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe. Arrangements by Westbrook, a Smith Family Funeral Home
