Ardeth Lynn Oliger, 87, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017. He was born March 8, 1929 in Center Ridge, Arkansas to Tommy and Katie Lea Banning Oliger.
He was a charter member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist church for 52 years where he served as Elder and Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent. He was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War and was the owner/operator of Oliger's Paint and Body Shop.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janelle Clendenin Oliger; children, Teresa Ramsey (Rick), Lynnette Burdick (Tom), Greg Oliger (Teri) and Kent Oliger (Dawn); grandchildren, Ryan, Mason, Rebekah, Lauren, Joanna Oliger and Lori and Kimberly Burdick; great-granddaughter, Mattilynn Allwood; brother, Edral Oliger, sister, Janet Bagley (Ed); and his sister-in-law, Shirley Oliger. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Aaron, Leland, and Hervey Oliger; sisters-in-law, Gene and Betty Oliger; and his grandson, Matthew Burdick.
A special thanks to Arkansas Hospice for the love and care they provided.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25th at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy, Arkansas at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 24th at the funeral home.
