Arch Pettit

Archie “Arch” Paull Pettit of Maumelle passed from this life on February 15, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 94. Arch was born May 1, 1928 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Arch and Carolyn (Zimmerman) Pettit. Mr. Pettit had an unwavering love and faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He devoted many hours to biblical study. His Hobbies included reading, art and music, especially classical and big band. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all. In addition to his parents, a brother, Jack Pettit preceded him in death.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of seventy years, Ida (Volpe) Pettit; children, Pam Pettit of Maumelle, David (Phylis) Pettit of Sherwood, Jeff (Jackie) Pettit of Conway, Tim Pettit of Maumelle, Jay (Margie) Pettit of Little Rock, Robin (James) Simmons of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Jeremy Pettit of Ohio, Steven Pettit of California, Adam (Melissa) Pettit  of Maumelle, Eden (Andy) Bull of Conway, Evan (Jessica) Pettit of Heber Springs, Sarah (James) Bryant of Conway, Miranda Pettit of Little Rock, James Simmons, Michael Simmons and Marcus Simmons all of North Little Rock. Other survivors include great grandchildren, Carson, Noah, Charleigh, Jayden, Dennis, and Dayton; nephew, Vic (Marcia) Pettit of Florida along with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Friday, February 18, 2022 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Pettit will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park following the service.
