April Miles
Our beautiful and most loving April Lynette Hillis Miles, 30, of Sherwood, Arkansas, returned to her heavenly home February 7, 2017, to join the Lord who she praised in song.
April was born June 4, 1986 in Little Rock, Arkansas, was raised in Furlow and resided in Sherwood. She was a 2004 graduate of Lonoke High School (Go Jackrabbits), attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and was continuing her studies to be a Registered Dietician. She opened her own business, Sculpted Tans, and became known statewide for her excellence in her profession.
An avid animal lover, April always strove to better the lives of neglected or abandoned dogs through rescue, fostering and adoption or simply by extending love to random animals.
April is survived by her adoring husband and best friend, Andrew Miles; her parents Dwight and Sherry Hillis; her big brother Eric; her grandparents and her most precious fur baby, Annabelle. Her presence in the lives of so many family members and friends will be deeply missed, including "her girls" Julie, Sam and Stacey.
Memorials may be made to the Lonoke Animal Shelter, 1219 Barnes St., Lonoke, AR 72086.
Family will receive friends at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 with service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home.
