Anthony Roll

ANTHONY "Tony" IRVIN ROLL, 48, lost his battle with cancer and was released from his pain on March 7, 2018. Beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend worked at the Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority as an Industrial Inspector. An avid RPG player, Tony was a veteran of many gaming conventions both locally and across the nation -- including GenCon, Gary Con, and Midsouth. His hobbies also included military history, music, shooting, and football (he was a devoted Indianapolis Colts fan).

Born in Waukegan, IL on October 8, 1969, he spent the first few years of his life in Lake Villa, IL before moving with his family to Rosedale, IN in 1977. He grew up in Rosedale earning band honors and graduating from Riverton Parke High School in 1987. He briefly attended Indiana State University and was a Drum Major for the Indiana State Marching Sycamores. Moving to Benton, AR in December 1987, he attended the University of Arkansas-Little Rock nursing program. He has worked several retail positions, served with the Maumelle Police Department, and was a lab analyst before joining the Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority.

Tony is survived by his parents, Ric and Jane Roll, his brother Rick and his wife Patty, a niece (Kaitlin) and nephew (Caleb), and a devoted group of friends with whom he gamed and brightened their lives.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Friends in Christ Lutheran Church located at 4305 Hwy. 5 North in Bryant, AR on March 23rd at noon. A luncheon will be provided after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
