Anthony "Tony" John Chiaro, 77, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away November 28, 2018. He was born September 21, 1941 in Little Italy, Arkansas to the late John S. and Antonietta (Ghidotti) Chiaro.
Tony retired after working thirty years for the State of Arkansas in the Department of Human Services. Inwardly, Tony was a very religious man. Every morning, he could be found sitting in his favorite chair reading his daily scripture and studying the Bible. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 6680 in New Dixie, Arkansas.
Preceding Tony in death are his parents; and nephew, Michael Chiaro.
He leaves to cherish his memory his husband of thirty years, Earnie Matheson of Little Rock; two brothers: Vincent Chiaro and wife Toni of Little Italy, Arkansas and Johnny Chiaro and wife Sharon of Bryant, Arkansas; sister, Marie (Chiaro) Rankin of Little Italy, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends who love Tony and will miss him always.

Reception visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 PM, Monday, December 3, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home followed by memorial service, officiated by Father Mark Wood and Father Paul Worm at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Arkansas Children's Hospital.
