Anthony Ahlf

Anthony ?Barry? Ahlf, 67, of Sherwood, ended his valiant battle with cancer on May 1, 2008. Barry had a quick wit and laid back personality. Therefore he had many friends with varied backgrounds. Barry?s love of fishing was forever with him. He had fond memories of the adventures and good times with his wife, Nellie Jo and buddies. His second loves were the Razorbacks, Red Sox, and Cardinals. Barry?s dignity never left him throughout the last six months, never complaining or seeking sympathy from anyone. His positive attitude never waivered. He maintained his courage and strength which never faulted. He always put others needs above his own. His fun loving, warm personality will be forever missed.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie Jo (Wayland) Ahlf; daughters, Kimberly LaPointe of Dryden, New York and Katherine Ahlf of W. Swanzey, New Hampshire; half-brothers, Steele Davis of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and Craig Davis of St. Augustine, Florida; half-sister, Elaine Davis of Stuart, Florida; grandchildren, Josh and Megan La Pointe, Chris Lounder and Nicole Joslyn; great-grandchildren, Alexis Joslyn and Haley Susan Joslyn; stepchildren, Robbie and Randy Hindman, Lisa Montgomery; step-grandchildren, Brooke Verdell, Britt Hall, Luke and Savanna Hindman; step great-grandchildren, Jackson, Bailey and Brooklyn Verdell.
