Annette Watson

Annette Watson, age 94, of Arkadelphia passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024. She was born December 13, 1929 in Rison, Arkansas to the late Nathan Van and Annabel (Baker) McKinney. Annette and her husband, Robert, hosted the radio show Blessed Assurance on a local Arkadelphia radio station. She was also a graduate of Arkansas State Teachers College in Conway. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Hale Watson; brothers, Edwin “Teddy” McKinney, and John McKinney.

Left to cherish her memory are her brother Harold Baker and his wife, Helen; nephews, Larry McKinney and Nathan McKinney; nieces, Amie Glass and Nancy Smith; and brother-in-law, John Dewey Watson and his wife, Sandra.

 Funeral services are 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Brother Larry Bloomfield officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 12:30 p.m. Services will conclude at the chapel.
