Annette Waters
Annette Carter Waters, 80, of Little Rock, went home on June 29, 2012. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, she was the sixth daughter of John L. and Loretta Masters Carter. She served passionately at Little Rock's First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Matthew C. Waters, son, Matthew Alan Waters and three sisters. She is survived by her son, Brian C. Waters (Sharon) of Fayetteville; daughter, Beth Hodde (Herb) of Bentonville; sisters, Ruth (Doty) Brooks and Martha (Fritz) Talley; and grandchildren, Catie Waters of Red Oak, Texas, Lauren, Ben and Alyssa Hodde of Bentonville, and Amanda and Audrey Crosson of Fayetteville.
The family will greet friends on Sunday, July 1 from 2-4 p.m. and on Monday, July 2 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Interment will be Tuesday, July 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander, followed by a Celebration of Annette's life at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Jim Lagrone. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 62 Pleasant Valley Dr., Little Rock, AR 72212.
