Anne Verch

Anne Wolfe Verch, age 75, of Little Rock died January 13, 2011. Born in Ft. Worth, Texas January 17, 1935 Anne grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma the daughter of the late Joel and Inez Wolfe.
Following graduation from Holland Hall High School in Tulsa Anne attended the University of Arizona where she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta fraternity and met her husband, Otto Verch.
A member of Christ Episcopal Church Anne served as a Sacrasan and was active in the ECW. She was also a member of the Country Club of Little Rock, where she enjoyed playing golf, and the Ladies Golf Association. She was a past board member of the American Red Cross and a Justice of the Peace.
Anne is survived by her husband of 56 years, Otto Verch; son, Kevin Verch and wife Toni of Little Rock; daughter Kathy Farkas and husband Mike of Columbus, Ohio; grandsons, Taylor Verch and wife Alisa, Ash Alstadt, Matthew Verch and granddaughter Mia Alstadt; brother Frank Wolfe and wife Emily of Bernice, Oklahoma and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the doctors and nurses of the Arkansas Heart Hospital for their skill and compassionate care during her final days.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 17th at Christ Episcopal Church, 509 Scott Street, Little Rock, AR 72201. A celebratory reception will be held immediately following committal in the Crease Close.
