Anne Myrtle (Ideker) Northcutt, 94, widow of Herrn A. Northcutt, Sr., passed away Saturday, March 10, 2007, at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock. She was born August 30, 1912, in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Arthur and Malinda (Rabeneck) Ideker who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, Walter, Arthur, Raymond and Marvin Ideker and sisters, Rosalee McGinnis and Ruby Ideker.
She is survived by her sons, Herrn, Jr. (Margie), John, Arch (Tammy) and Steve; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sisters Shirley Makovec of Slovak, Arkansas and Marie Polles of Jacksonville, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Northcutt was a member of Highland Valley United Methodist Church (Circle 7), WAVES National (Unit One- Travelers) and American Legion Post # 1 (oldest member). She was a WWII veteran, serving in the Bureau of Personnel in Washington, D.C., as a Navy WAVE, Seaman 1st Class.
Visitation with the family will be Monday, March 12, from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Court (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Valley United Methodist Church in Little Rock. Graveside services with Military Honors will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, at Salem Cemetery in Salem (Fulton County), Arkansas.
