Anna Miller Styn was born in Chillicothe, Ohio, on August 23, 1940, and passed from this life on November 23, 2022. She is survived by her son James (Rick) Styn (wife Sharon); grandson Rob Styn (Michelle), Andrew Styn (Amanda), Nick Styn; granddaughter is Rachel McDuffie (Eli), Kristina Baxter (Bobby); twelve great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond A. and Martha P. Miller, brother Ray Miller and her son Robert A. Styn.
Early in her career, she taught school at Saint Theresa’s Catholic School and then went on to work for Arkansas Department of Health where she worked until her retirement. She was an avid Razorbacks fan and loved working in her yard. She was involved with the “Faith Formation Group.” A facilitator on books of Catholicism and a founding member of “The Grieving Parents Group” at Immaculate Conception Church in North Little Rock. A member of St. Vincent de Paul social “helping the poor” a Vincentan Missionairo and a great supporter of all Priests.
She is very much loved by her family and friends and she will be missed.
Visitation will be at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., North Little Rock, AR 72114, on Wednesday, November 30, from 5:00-7:00PM followed by a Rosary at 7:00. Memorial Mass will be at St. Anne’s Catholic Church on Thursday, December 1, at 10:00AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Ann’s Parish in North Little Rock.
