Anna Margaret Coddington Adams, age 89, of Glenwood, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017. She was born on September 12, 1928 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the daughter of John Phillip Coddington and Auda Lou Henry Coddington. On October 9, 1948, she was married to Rube Russell Adams who preceded her in death on February 16, 1969. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Norman Rube Adams; and her brother, John Francis Coddington. She was a retired claims adjuster for Travelers Insurance but after retirement, she enjoyed working various jobs until the age of 75. She was an astonishing wife, mother and very loving grandmother. She was an antique enthusiast and enjoyed collecting dolls. She is survived by five children and their spouses, John and Lan Adams of Orlando, Florida, Annette Adams of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Laura Adams of Amity, Richard and Missy Adams of Holly Springs, North Carolina and Robert and Diane Adams of Oologah, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Phillip Coddington of Canal Winchester, Ohio; and two sisters, Mary Waller of Scurry, Texas and Patricia Minton of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 23, 2017, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Christopher Sanders, Chris Colton Sanders, Connor McKeaigg, Patrick Adams, Xander Ash Adams and Wayne Sanders.
