Anna Hurlimann Kinsel, 100, of Little Rock, died Thursday, January 27, 2011. She was born in Langnau am/Albis, Switzerland on December 31, 1910 to Henry Hurlimann and Anna Vollenwieder Hurlimann who emigrated to Illinois early in 1913.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Fannie Hurlimann, Emilie Brown and Martha Perryman, husband, John Kinsel and son, Henry Hurlimann.
She is survived by her daughters, Marguerite Kinsel and Theda Ray, both of Little Rock; grandsons, Jon (Carol) Ray of Vilonia and Joe (Mary Marrin) Ray of Pine Bluff; three great-grandchildren, Chris (Manika) Ray of Conway, Alysia (Loui) Colon of North Little Rock and Justin Ray of Vilonia; and three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Johnnie (LuVenia) Hurlimann; sisters, Bertha Cohrt and Meda Kyzer, both of Alexander and Flora Young of Tooele, Utah; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Monday, January 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander, officiated by Mr. Dale Brown. There will be no formal visitation, but the family will receive friends immediately following the service.
