Anna Grace Clark Watt, 29, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away on May 1, 2024 at CHI St Vincent in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was surrounded by her loving family. After being diagnosed with Glioblastoma in June of 2023, she remained hopeful and courageous in her fight against cancer.
Anna Grace was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on January 16th, 1995. She grew up in North Little Rock, Arkansas and attended Indian Hills Elementary, Poplar Street, Lakewood Middle School and graduated with an International Baccalaureate diploma from North Little Rock High School. She attended University of Central Arkansas on a full scholarship with the Honors College. She graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. After graduation, she was accepted in the Doctorate of Occupational Therapy Program.
In September of 2019, Anna Grace began dating the love of her life, Jason Watt. This gift of love was soon followed by a considerable challenge. After experiencing two seizures Anna Grace was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had a successful surgery in February of 2020. Being the determined and strong-willed woman that she was, she continued to go to classes and was able to complete the program as planned in August of that year.
She moved to Fayetteville Arkansas that fall and began working as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. She loved her job and was proud of the work she did in helping children. In August of 2022 Jason and Anna Grace were engaged and so excited to start the next chapter of their lives.
Unfortunately, in June of 2023 Anna Grace was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor known as glioblastoma. However, Anna Grace rose to the challenge and began to fight her disease. She had a second surgery, that was followed by intense radiation and chemotherapy treatments.
Throughout this difficult time, Anna Grace persisted and continued to plan her dream wedding. On October 14th, 2023, Anna Grace and Jason celebrated their love and were bound in matrimony. Despite her hard fight, in March of 2024 she was diagnosed with another tumor that was inoperable.
Anna Grace will be missed by so many. She was kind, smart, strong and loving. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jason and their beloved dog, Reese. She is also survived by her parents, Joe and Stacy Clark of North Little Rock, her sister Emily Wallace and husband Zac of Springdale, her brother Austin Clark and his girlfriend Noel Haney of Fayetteville, and her niece and nephew who she adored, Palmer and Wells Wallace.
