Anna Ballard

Anna Sylveen Mills Ballard, 83 of Beebe went to be with the Lord June 22, 2020.  Sylveen was born June 27, 1936 in Lake Village, Arkansas to Jessie Sr. and Sylvia Penrose Mills.

Sylveen retired from Citizens Bank after many years.  She was a member of Open Arms Assembly of God.

She is survived by her children Steve (Tammy) Ballard of Antioch and Gale (Jack) Strafaci also of Antioch, seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, two brothers, Raymond Mills of Antioch and James Mills of Sturgis, Mississippi, her special friend and sister in law Lee Mills of Antioch, and many other family and friends.

Sylveen was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Ballard, two grandsons, and five brothers, and five sisters.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday June 27, 2020 at Sylvania Cemetery.  State of AR COVID-19 directives will be followed; including social distancing and masks will be required for visitation.  Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home.   www.smithfamilycares.com
