Anna Armendariz

It is with much sadness and shock that we share the news that our daughter/granddaughter, Anna Armendariz tragically passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022. She fell while hiking in the Ozark National Forest, in Arkansas. We find some peace knowing that she was very happy that day as demonstrated in various text exchanges and her posts on Snapchat.

Anna is survived by her father, Daniel Armendariz (Shana Harrison) of Hurst, Texas; her mother Leigh Ann Stamper (James) of Manhattan, Kansas; grandparents Harold Cunningham of Flint, Texas, Pablo Armendariz (Julieta) of Wamego, Kansas, Don and Rita Korte of El Dorado, Kansas, Carter and Debbye Harrison of Carlisle, Arkansas; and brother, Joshua Craig Armendariz (Kaice Allen) of Manhattan, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by grandmother, Carolyn Cunningham.

Memorials may be made to your local animal shelter.

A celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 2540 Bethelem Road, Lonoke, Arkansas, 72086. We will have a Memorial Service to honor her in Texas at a later date to be determined.

We appreciate your love and support during this difficult time.
