Virginia "Ann" Turner, 82 of Little Rock, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Baptist Springhill Medical Center in North Little Rock. She was born on December 20, 1927 in Jackson, Mississippi; she was the daughter of William C. Armstrong and Bessie Butler-Newsom Allard.
Ann will be remembered by her family as being a very fun-loving, high spirited person, who loved to dance, and was always a hard worker. Ann held a degree in Childhood Education, and worked as a Clerical Administrator for the Arkansas Department of Health, she was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and Christ Episcopal Church in Downtown Little Rock.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her daughters Jo Ann Kennedy and husband Robert of Little Rock; Jeanie Robertson and husband Dennis of North Little Rock; grandchildren Clarinda Robertson, James Daniel Robertson and wife Jessica, and Turner Kennedy; great-grandchildren Elizabeth Yang and Aiden Robertson.
In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society at 14600 Colonel Glenn Road a�� Little Rock, AR 72210.
Cremation arrangements by Huson Funeral Home of Little Rock. There will be a private family service.
