Ann Glass

Ann Louise Glass, age 65, of Hot Springs, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

She was born on March 26, 1956, in Vancouver, Washington, the daughter of Louis W. Smith and Eunice Georgina Neil Smith.  She is preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Patricia and Carol.

Ann went to work for the federal government in 1985 and retired in 2015 after 30 years of service.   She enjoyed all animals, especially her pet cows and guinea hogs.  She was a fan of all music, loved pirate sea chanties, but really loved rock music.  She loved her family with all her heart and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Sterling Glass of Madison, Wisconsin; her daughter and son-in-law, Morgana and Ryan Schluterman of Ft. Smith; two grandchildren, Brianne DeTorbal and spouse, Nathan, of Provo, Utah and Juliette Mantooth of Ft. Smith; one great-grandchild, Sadie DeTorbal; Ann’s fiancé, Patrick Layton of Bismarck; her niece, Connie Humpherys of Portland, Oregon; other nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 5, 2022, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.
