Ann Benson
Ann Benson, 89, of Little Rock, went to be with her Lord on July 2, 2014. She was born in Moran, Kansas to Frank and Martha Whitlow Martin. She was an R.N. and worked as a school nurse in the Wichita Public School System for 20 years. Ann volunteered in her community, was on the Board of Directors of the Four County Mental Health Association in Kansas, and was a prize-winning quilter.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Parscale of Little Rock and Beth Snyder (Mike) of California; three grandchildren, Gwyn Dill and husband, Kevin and their children, Lana and Janae of Lenexa, Kansas; Gretchen Schmanke and husband, Darin and their children, Nolan and Maya of Olathe, Kansas; and Erin Boelkens and husband, Corey and their children, Lily and Genevieve of Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Virgil Martin.
Services will be held on Wednesday, July 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Hospice Foundation, 14 Parkstone Circle, No. Little Rock, AR 72116.
