Anita Kay Deal

Anita Kay Deal, 67, of Bauxite, Arkansas passed away October 25, 2022.  She was born September 15, 1955, in Cleveland, Mississippi to the late Louie and Viola (Stewart) Grantham.

Anita loved the Lord and was of the Baptist faith.  She and her husband, David, attended Saline Missionary Baptist Church.  Anita’s list of favorites included her husband, her daughters, cooking, and camping.   Her daughters and grandchildren were very special to Anita, and she cherished spending time with them.  Her family loved Anita’s cooking and looked forward to her special seasonal recipes.   Anita enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband.    The annual sister camping trips created memories for all to cherish.

Preceding Anita in death are her parents, Louie and Viola Grantham; and brothers, Ray and Chip Grantham.

Anita leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of thirty-five years, David Deal of Bauxite, Arkansas; three daughters:  Debra Hamilton of Benton, Arkansas, Stephanie Hodges and husband Chris of Vidalia, Louisiana, and Leslie Trejo and husband Omar of Van Buren, Arkansas; ten grandchildren:  Rebecca Hamilton, Lauren Hamilton, Noah Fife, Mason Fife, Harlee Sanders, Katie Trejo, Hayley Trejo, Gian Trejo, Addison Trejo, and Greyson Trejo; two sisters:  Cathy Dulaney and husband Mitch of Humnoke, Arkansas and Carol Campbell and husband Curt of Conway, Arkansas; two brothers:  David Grantham of Conway, Arkansas and Tim Grantham and wife Amanda of Conway, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who love Anita and will miss her always.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00, Friday, October 28, with funeral service, officiated by Bro. Mitch Dulaney following at 3:00 PM at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street in Benton, Arkansas.
