Angeline Kaplon

The family of Angeline Sofia Kaplon would like to thank you for honoring her memory with your presence today.

She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Louis Banaszak and Mary Zajac Banaszak on April 22, 1928. Angeline is preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Sylvester Kaplon; her baby Robert Kaplon, her granddaughter, Karen Ann Doolos; seven sisters, Frances Pasierb, Elizabeth Pruss, Martha Wilk, Della Gubanski, Veronica Kaplon, Florence Szparaga, Margaret Piechoski; two brothers, August Banaszak and Alois Banaszak. She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Evans; two daughters, Theresa Kaplon and Janie Doolos; granddaughter, Lisa Doolos; two great-granddaughters, Alexis Wright-Doolos and Tailor Dicus; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her.

Angeline was the oldest Polish member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, a member of the Alter Society and the Rosary Sodality.

Momma loved life. She loved raising her daisies and peonies and donated to church when she could. She always baked her granddaughters their favorite Christmas cookies. She loved to shop and enjoyed going to new restaurants. She loved her Catholic faith. She had a special devotion to Blessed Mother. She said she prayed to Blessed Mother so that she would find a good husband and she was blessed to find that husband in our dad.

Rosary will be at 9:00 AM Monday, April 10, 2023 with visitation following at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM at the church with burial at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.
